As of April 6, 2022, the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) will require all employers to implement at least an “interim plan of prevention and participation mechanisms”.
But what does this mean for companies?
If you don’t belong to a sector that already has prevention and participation mechanisms in place, you must now implement additional OHS measures, including full documentation of the risks that may occur in your workplace.
